STAGECRAFTERS:

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

Stagecrafters, a theater arts program of Orange Community Education &
Recreation, is looking forward to a winter session of exciting
after-school, weekend, and evening programming for students entering
Pre-K through 12 grades.

There is truly something for everyone at Stagecrafters. Tots from ages
3-5 can participate in the "Imagine That" Drama Class or the "Ta Dah!"
Children's Dance. Students in grades 1-2 can spend their Saturdays in
the "Little Actors" Class or the "Reach for the Stars" Dance Class.
"The Show Biz Kidz!" Musical Production Class is perfect for students in
grades 3-4. The class clowns in grades 5-8 can enroll in "Comedy/Improv
with Dan" on Saturdays or future Broadway stars in grades 5-6 can spend
their Saturdays in the "Broadway Bound!" Musical Revue Class. Teenagers
in grades 9-12 who are more interested in theatre production and
management can enroll in "Stage Managing".

Parents who are looking for after-school programming can enroll their
children in one of Stagecrafters after-school drama classes. These
classes provide a safe and fun-filled environment in which students in
grades 2-5 can learn about drama, acting and performance.

Stagecrafters also offers many opportunities for students to audition
for performance based programs. Teenagers in grades 8-12 are encouraged
to audition for "Cabaret Troupe" or "Junior Troupe", which give them the
opportunity to be part of a repertoire company. Teenagers in grades
8-12 can audition for the spring Teen Academy Production of DIRTY ROTTEN
SCOUNDRELS on December 13, 2009. Any student enrolled in a
Stagecrafters winter class can audition for the spring Community
Production of Seussical the Musical on February 7, 2010.

Stagecrafters' professional team members also offer weekly private
lessons in acting, voice, and piano for students to work on material of
their choice.

Residents and non-residents can register for any of these exciting
opportunities at Stagecrafters this winter. Registration begins
Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Pepper Pike Learning Center on the
Orange Schools Campus: 32000 Chagrin Blvd, Pepper Pike. Programming
begins Saturday, January 16, 2010.
