Hello!

I run the drama program at Lake Erie College, and we are in need of an experienced theater technician capable of teaching Lighting Design beginning in January.

We plan to run a class which combines some beginner students who need instruction in general theatre technology with a few senior students who are studying specifically Lighting Design (and perhaps some sound design as well, depending upon the teacher). The class will be small, perhaps 5 to 10 total students.

The curriculum should interact with our season of performances that term.

The ideal candidate will have an M.A. or M.F.A. in an appropriate area of technical expertise, some college teaching experience, and professional experience as a designer.

The ideal candidate will also have the to opportunity for additional work, and pay, designing the lights for our Spring production.

For more information, about the class, the pay, or upcoming theatre season, please contact:

Thank you,

"She went down to the pet shop and came back with two alligators. We asked her why she'd got two alligators, and she said they were on sale. Buy one at the regular price and you got another one for a penny. An alligator one cent sale. In its own way it made sense." Richard Brautigan, A CONFEDERATE GENERAL FROM BIG SUR
