The Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music, Outreach Department, is excited to say that the new Triple Threat Music Theatre Program offered in the Fall was a huge success! We had a class of 40 students (with a waiting list) that sang, danced and acted their way through a fun filled session. The program is generously supported by Cuyahoga County residents through Cuyahoga Arts and Culture.

We are pleased to announce the offering of 2 Spring Sessions that will run 12 weeks each starting Saturday, February 6th. The sessions will run from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Students will be assigned to one of the two sessions.

The Triple Threat program, Broadway Bound, is for students ages 10 - 15. Each Saturday, Triple Threat students will rotate through skill-based group classes in voice, dance/movement and acting. The sessions will end with the opportunity to combine these skills in the Collaborative Music Theatre Workshop. Experienced on the stage or not - this program will add to skills you already have or build the basics you need to become a competent music theatre singer, mover and actor! All that is required is the love of Music Theatre and desire to learn all about it! Following the final class, parents and friends will be invited to see the progress of Triple Threat students in an “Informance”.

The experienced, professional staff will give students first-hand knowledge and an outstanding training in the basics of Music Theatre. The Director of the Triple Threat program is Sheila Ludwig, Voice Instructor at Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory Outreach Department, who will be teaching the voice classes. The Movement /Dance segments will be taught by Pierre-Jacques Brault, Artistic Director of Mercury Summer Stock Theatre and B-W Music Theatre graduate. Brian Marshall, Associate Producer of Virginia Musical Theatre, and B-W Music Theatre graduate will be teaching the acting segment.
