Ensemble Theatre is holding auditions for
Oh! Beautiful Ohio
To be performed in the Studio One Theatre at the Cleveland Play House
 
Auditions will be held on Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
At the Cleveland Play House 8600 Euclid Ave
Rehearsal Room A
 
Callbacks will be held on Tuesday, December 22nd
 from 6:00-9:00
  Rehearsal Room C
 
Performance dates are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from February 26th until March 21st
 
A Euclid Beach dance date begins a courtship that is caught up in the tragedy of the 1913 Ohio River Flood.  The play includes actual love letters that a young couple shared at the turn of the century and incorporates ragtime music, as well as illustrations and insight into the history of Ohio.
 
Oh! Beautiful Ohio is a world premiere work by Cleveland’s own Mary Bill.
The play is being adapted and directed by John Kolibab
 
Needed: One man and one woman - age 22-35
             One man and one woman - age 45-60
Also need a male piano player who has acting experience
 
Actors will read from the script
There is some light singing in the script
It would be helpful if the actors could sing a few bars a capella, but not necessary
 
AEA actors may be considered
