The weather outside may be slightly frightful...but the music inside Stocker Arts Center tonight will be most delightful...


Join us as folk legend, JANIS IAN, and special guest SUSAN WERNER 
fill the main theatre at Stocker Arts Center with wonderful music beginning at 7:30pm!

A teenager when she captured America with her controversial song Society's Child in 1965, JANIS IAN remains one of the greatest songwriters in America. She began playing piano at age 2, was a guitar whiz by 10, recorded her first album at 14, and won consistent attention and accolades, including five Grammy nominations for her 1975 song At Seventeen, the most any solo female artist had ever garnered... 

 

SUSAN WERNER is one of the defining artists of folk music with songs that slide between folk, jazz and pop, delivered with wit and charm. She studied voice at Temple University, but inspired by a Nanci Griffith concert, begin performing at coffeehouses. She is a daring and innovative songwriter with a killer live show.
