Geauga Theater’s *Radio Boy* to Air on WKHR



On December 20th, WKHR FM 95.1 radio, will broadcast the opening night
performance of *Radio Boy*, which was produced by Geauga LTG in November. A
commercial-free edited version of the production will be aired by Bob
Wilkin, during the *Sunday Night Bijou* program, which runs from 8 to 10
p.m. Mr. Wilkins participated in all three live performance of *Radio Boy*,
by delivering tongue-in-cheek promotions for WKHR, a Northeast Ohio
non-profit radio station dedicated to playing Big Band music and the
legendary artists of the 1920’s through 1950’s. Currently based in
Bainbridge, Ohio, the radio station began as a vocational training
opportunity for students and remains an integral part of the Kenston High
School curriculum.  The *Sunday Night Bijou* program celebrates the Golden
Age of Radio by rebroadcasting radio shows that were popular during the
heyday of radio entertainment. This will be the first time Wilkins has had
the opportunity to broadcast a contemporary drama written in the style of,
and in homage to, that era. As with all WKHR programming, the *Radio
Boy *broadcast
will be simultaneously aired via the Internet at www.wkhr.org.
