"It's a Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play" Presented This Weekend Only by
The Hudson Players

Special Holiday Production Runs December 18 & 19 and is Not to Be Missed!

The Hudson Players are preparing to continue their 65th Anniversary season,
Friday December 18 and Saturday December 19 with a special one weekend only
holiday production of "It's a Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play".

Written by Joe Landry and based on the film by Frank Capra, this beloved
American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio
broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters
to the stage, and a live sound effects table, the story of idealistic George
Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.
With the 65th season sponsored in part by The Hudson Community Foundation
and The Hudson Rotary, opening night audiences will also be invited out
after the production for a special reception and opportunity to mingle with
the cast and crew. Tickets are available at www.hudsonplayers.com.

According to the Players, the play is a great production for the entire
family and should be a great way to celebrate the holidays while enjoying a
holiday classic and a new and refreshing format.

"It's A Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play" is being directed by Claudia
Lillibridge and produced by Marianne Karlson and Michelle Dolciato. The show
features John D. Haller, Heather Roszczyk, Kirk Worcester, Gary Maher, Becky
Campbell, and Michelle Dolciato, along with Edward Dell and Stephanie Bowlin
as Foley artists.

Performance dates are December 18 & 19. Tickets are $12 and are available
now via the web at www.HudsonPlayers.com or by calling 330-655-8522. Curtain
time is 8 p.m. Group, student and senior discounts are available.

The Hudson Players are located right in the heart of Hudson, Ohio in the
Barlow Community Center and are one of the area's longest running community
theaters currently celebrating their 65th Season. With a rich history of
great shows, community involvement and an ultra-friendly performing
environment the group embodies its slogan of "good shows, good friends, and
good times". Up next will be "Monky Business" a musical featuring monks,
mayhem and merriment.
