Auditions for G. B. Community Theatre's "You Can't Take it With You"

 

G. B. Community Theatre at the Ashtabula Arts Center will be holding auditions for the Pulitzer Prizewinning comedy  

"You Can't Take It With You" 

on Sun., Jan. 3, from 1-3 

and Mon. & Tues., Jan. 4 & 5, from 6-8. 

Readings will be from the script. 

 

In this classic tale written by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, the cheerfully eccentric Vanderhof clan are a zany bunch who pursue whatever activity seizes their passion.  When their daughter Alice announces her boyfriend's rich, conservative parents are coming to dinner; the family agrees to act "normal." But when the prospective in-laws show up on the wrong night.the fireworks fly! 

 

Directed by Clay Nielsen of Madison, the show will be performed on March 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, 2010.  New actors are welcome to audition.  Those auditioning should bring a list of any conflicts they may have during the rehearsal and performance period.
