³Dobama¹s ŒGutenberg¹ hat¹s entertainment²
³Nothing is funnier than characters and jokes that are ostensibly dumb
created and portrayed by smart, savvy people, and ³Gutenberg² is that hands
 and hats down.²
Margi Herwald Zitelli, Cleveland Jewish News

The ³Gutenberg girls² traveled from NYC to see Dobama¹s production. Check
out Tony Brown¹s article about their travels at www.cleveland.com/onstage/
³The site is called "Gutenberg's Travels," a Swiftian allusion, and it
chronicles the beyond-the-Hudson jaunts of Jennifer Coolbaugh and Lori
Mooney in pursuit of seeing every production of their favorite musical,
"Gutenberg! The Musical!". Which is what brought them Saturday to Cleveland
Heights and Dobama Theatre, where an excellent production of the
meta-musical is playing through Saturday, Jan. 2.²

2 Men, 1 Piano, 30 Characters, more hats than My Fair Lady...
and 1 massively misguided dream!
No, it¹s not a musical about Steve Gutenberg of Cocoon fame. Yes, it is
about that guy who invented the Printing Press,
but minus the boring historical stuff!
It¹s a zany romp with Bud and Doug as they play all the parts
and sing all the songs in hope that YOU will be the Broadway producer who
will make their dreams come true.
Winner of the 2006 New York Theatre Festival Award for Excellence in Musical
Theatre Writing.
