The movie "Those Lips,
Those Eyes” was filmed at Cain Park 30 years ago, and is about a place that is
exactly like Cain
 Park was in the 1950s.
The filming of the movie there also helped to restore the amphitheater, which
enabled Cain Park to re-start the ambitious theater,
dance and concert programming it presents every summer.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film – and of Cain Park as we know it
today – the Friends of Cain Park will present a one-time-only showing of
"Those Lips, Those Eyes" at the Cedar Lee Theater on Sunday, February
21, at 2:00, as a fund-raiser, which will also include snacks and wine.

Tickets for this unique 30th anniversary benefit are only $30 each. For
reservations or information, contact us at popcycles at sbcglobal.net or
216-791-5149.

By the way, the movie was filmed before Cain Park's
amphitheater had a roof, and when it still had stone and concrete benches,
rather than the seats it has now, etc. So it's not only a look at life in Cleveland Heights in the '50s, it's also a real historical
documentation of the original Cain
 Park.
