As seen in Cleveland Magazine (

The Oddy Festival is starting 2010 with two exciting "agent" shows in one
program we call "Secret Agent Men."

Hope to see you *one week from tonite (Friday, January 15) at 7:15 p.m. at
the Brody-Nelson Room of the Cleveland Heights Library (2345 Lee Road)* for
Matt Greenfield's wacky James Bond spoof, "Sometimes Never Is Twice More
Than Enough for Tomorrow to Die with Diamonds" paired with Michael Oatman's
intense two-actor drama "Not a Uterus in Sight." Both plays take place in
an alternate present: the first re-imagines the plot of *Dr. No *with Bond
as a feminist and the second imagines that *Roe v. Wade* has been overturned
as a federal agent interrogates a pro-choice "agitator." Come out to see
two diamterically-opposite views on "secret agent men"-- as always, it's
FREE!  Read on for details:

*Secret Agent Men: OddyFest #17*

* *

*OddyFest’s January program pairs *

*two very different looks at government agents:*

*“Sometimes Never Is Twice More than Enough for Tomorrow to Die... with
Diamonds” by Matt Greenfield (accompanied by Joe Barone)*

* *

This over-the-top parody of the first James Bond film, 1962’s *Dr. No*,
finds Hugh Jdick thwarting Dr. Maybe’s overly-complex plan for world
domination, all the while attempting catch his stereotypical “Bond girls” up
to the gender roles of the present with the aid of *The Feminine Mystique*.

*“Not a Uterus in Sight” by Michael Oatman (dir. Mia Jones)*

* *

In this intense two-person show, a federal government agent interrogates a
pro-choice professor in an alternate present in which *Roe v. Wade* is
overturned and each state must decide the legality of abortion for its
citizens.

*The Odd Fridays:*

*Friday, January 15 / Friday, January 29*

*Show starts at 7:15*

* *

*BRODY-NELSON ROOM*

*of the Cleveland Heights Library, Lee Road Branch*

*(2345 Lee Road, just next to the stairs)*

*FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!*
