"Monky Business" to Happen on Hudson Players' Stage

Musical Comedy filled with Monks, Music and Mayhem to be presented in
February,

The Hudson Players are preparing to bring Monky Business to stage at the
Barlow Community Center and the result will be a good time for all. The
musical comedy with a book by Todd Mueller and music and lyrics by Gregg
Opelka will be presented February 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 26 & 27 and
offers plenty of monks mayhem and merriment.

Featuring monks, mayhem and merriment, the show takes its audience on
journey that includes poisoned venison-and-whipped-cream pie, a radio
mystery, a zany ventriloquist act, a witty Abbot-and-Costello-inspired
routine about faith, a minor miracle and plenty of great, hummable songs. It
all takes place as five fun-loving monks battle good against evil during a
radiothon fundraiser to keep a developer from turning their monastery into a
casino, the Brothers take turns singing and performing vaudeville routines
in an effort to raise $250,000 to save the monastery. This hilarious hit
musical is a la "Nunsense."

Monky Business is part of the Hudson Player 65th anniversary season which is
sponsored in part by The Hudson Community Foundation and The Hudson Rotary.
