An American Journey: Revisiting Robert Frank's "The Americans" . Directed by Philippe Séclier, with Edward Ruscha, Barney Rosset, Vicki Goldberg, Peter Galassi, et al. A half-century after the publication of Robert Frank's groundbreaking collection of photographs The Americans, French filmmaker and book editor Philippe Séclier retraces Frank's journey across the U.S. A cross-culture understanding and recognition about America and more from other artists' eyes. Cleveland premiere.

France/USA, 2009, color, DVD, 58 min. Preceded at 7:00 by Philip and Amy Brookman's 28-min. Fire in the East: A Portrait of Robert Frank (USA, 1986), coproduced and distributed by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Special thanks to Marian Luntz.
