12-16 YEAR OLD GIRLS

FOR THE LEAD IN A NEW COEN BROTHERS FEATURE FILM 'TRUE GRIT'

SHOOTING SPRING 2010

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

SEEKING GIRLS FOR THE ROLE OF 'MATTIE ROSS'

14 Year old MATTIE is a simple, tough as nails young woman in post Civil War Arkansas.  Her unusually steely nerves and straightforward manner are often surprising to those she meets.  She's possessed of true grit and plenty of determination.  Enough so, that she insists ongoing with 2 marshals to hunt  down the killer of her father.

WE ARE SEEKING KIDS TO PLAY A SOUTHERN CAUCASIAN GIRL JUST AFTER THE CIVIL WAR/ WHO IS STRONG AND TELLS IT LIKE IT IS.
                     WE ARE OPEN TO ALL LOOKS!

Auditions will be held week of January 18th -23rd at various theaters and libraries in Cleveland and surrounding areas.
