Midday Music Mosaic, the brownbag lunch series at Christ Episcopal Church in Shaker Heights, presents Thersa May on trumpet with Music Director Nathan Carterette on organ and piano, in a concert of traditional hymn arrangements, gospel, and classical repertoire. 

This concert will be on Wednesday, January 27th at 12:15 pm.  

Free admission, and please feel free to bring a lunch.

Theresa May received her Master‘s degree in trumpet performance from the Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music where she studied with Alan Siebert and Phil Collins; and her Bachelor Music from the University of Dayton while studying with Dr. Patrick Reynolds.  Other teachers include Steve Enos and Rebecca Dina. She has extensive performing and teaching experience and has been performing since age 12 which is when she won her first competition.  

In addition to her performing experience, Theresa is an established teacher.  She has previously taught at the Rainey School of Music, various music camps and in the teen-n-training music program with the Cleveland Music Settlement. She currently performs in the Cleveland and Cincinnati area and regularly performs with the Brass Band of the Western Reserve and Gabriel’s Horns, a 21-piece big band.
