Audition requirements:

Please prepare a short Shakespearian monologue (1-1 1/2 min.), 
not required but appreciated. 

Be prepared to read from the script.

There will be a dance portion of the audition, come dressed for movement.

Synopsis:
LAST of the SORCERERS is a fairy tale about a young lad that finds a pair of magical key"s outside the King"s castle and he uses the power of the key"s to defend the kingdom against evil wizard and sorcerers. ULTIMUS VENEFICUS (Last of the Sorcerers) is filled with song, dance and riveting sword-fighting. It"s an evening of enchantment for the entire family.

Characters:
 
TIMOTHY - the humble lad that finds the pair of magical key"s and uses the power of the key to defend the kingdom against evil. (9-14)

JACOB - the evil brother of Timothy, he plots against his brother to give REVEL(evil sorcerers) the key of eternal knowledge. (14-18)

REVEL - the evil sorcerers that seeks the power of the key"s to rule the universe. (30-50)

CORINTHIAN - the guardian that holds the key"s of knowledge and salvation. The only force that REVEL fears. (30-60)

EPHESIAN - the old prophet wizard that preaches about the prophesy before it happens. (50-70)   

ZAMARAH - an old evil witch filled with hate until REVEL turns her into a seductive beautiful sorceress, the power to cloud the minds of men. (20-40)

KING JUDE - A strong, wise ruler of the kingdom. (35-50)

QUEEN LEVETICUS - the queen of the kingdom and wife of KING JUDE. (25-45) 

DAVID - (master knight) the chosen one of the knights, swiftest with the sword and the most handsome in the kingdom. (20s) 

SAMUEL - (senior knight) the strongest of the knights, the mentor and the most out of shape. (30s)

ISAIAH  - (young knight) hungrey to prove himself, but filled with respect for his kingdom and fellow knights. (17-25) 

GALATIA - (timothy"s girlfriend) she is TIMOTHY'S best friend. (9-14)

ZEPHANIAH - thinks TIMOTHY should belong to her because she"s the cutest girl in the kingdom. (9-14) 

MICAH - a sweetheart, a little kid that just smiles alot. (9-14) 

PETER - follower of JACOB. They do whatever he tells them to do. (14 -17) 

JOHN - follower of JACOB. They do whatever he tells them to do. (14-17)

RUTH - good friend of the princess AMARI. (20s)

TYRA - good friend of the princess AMARI. (20s)

PRINCESS AMARI - A beautiful, but strong willed girl, she is the love interest of DAVID (20s) 

DARK KNIGHT - (A tall evil knight) The greatest fighter of all knights. A dark force gives him his power, the power of invisibility. (25-55)

reminder: non-traditional casting will be highly considered.
