Presented by *KEYBANK *
Enter *FOCUS 2010* and become a part of an exciting collaboration of several
communities.
Amateur photographers (adults and students) are eligible.
This competition is juried with awards in each category including ‘Best of
Show’.
*The Opening Exhibition Celebration will be held on Friday, April 23
at Solon Community Center from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.*

ENTRY RULES
The Focus 2010 Committee reserves the right to decline or limit the number
of entries
if any of the following criteria is not met and/or the content is deemed
inappropriate.
• A maximum of two entries will be accepted per photographer.
• There is a Non-refundable entry fee of $10.00 per piece.
• All photos must be on photographic paper. No canvas or transparencies.
• All photographs must have a label on the back of the frame that indicates
   the artist’s name, city, phone number, title, category and
classification.
• Photos must be framed, matted, wired and ready to hang.
   Photos without a fixed and secure wire will not be accepted.
• Finished frame size minimum is 5” x 7” with a maximum of 30” x 30”.
• Photographs must be entrant’s own work and not entered in a previous FOCUS
show.
• No Entry Forms/Fees will be accepted on Drop Off Day.

Best of Show photo will not be eligible for other awards.

Entries to be exhibited at the Host Galleries will be selected on Wednesday,
April 21 and announced at the Friday, April 23
reception at Solon Community Center. Cash prizes will be handed out at the Host
Gallery Award Presentations/Receptions
(see Important Dates).

As a new outreach opportunity, *FOCUS 2010* judges and *KeyBank
*representatives
will choose
winning photos to be included in the Key Choice Exhibitions at local
branches of KeyBank from
May 4 - May 21. Winners of the KeyBank Choice Awards will be notified at the
FOCUS 2010
Opening Reception on Friday, April 23 at Solon Community Center.
Awards: $50.00 for each photo chosen

IMPORTANT DATES
Entry Deadline: Saturday, April 10 by 2:00 pm
All entries must be pre-registered and pre-paid at Solon Center
for the Arts.

Drop Off: Wednesday, April 21 (9:00 am - 6:00 pm)
All submissions must be dropped off at Solon Community Center 35000 Portz
Parkway, Solon, Ohio 44139.

Opening Exhibition (all entrants): Friday, April 23 (6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)
All registered photographs will be included in the Focus 2010
Opening Exhibition at Solon Community Center. Photos not chosen to move on
to the Host Gallery Exhibitions must be picked up at the close of the
reception.

Host Gallery Exhibitions (select entrants):
Photos chosen by the judges will be exhibited at:
     • The Beck Center for the Arts: May 4 - May 23
                                 and
     • Solon Center for the Arts: May 4 - June 4

Host Gallery Award Presentation/Reception (select entrants):
All Photos must be picked up from the host gallery at the close of the
reception. Cash prizes will be awarded at these receptions.
