Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory (FPAC), Fred Sternfeld – Artistic
Director, will present the Ohio Premiere of *13*. With wit and searing
honesty, *13* is a hilarious, high-energy musical for all ages. The
show follows
the lives of thirteen 13 year olds as they navigate their way through
friendships, love, popularity, honesty, and growing-up. *13 *is about the
lessons one learns throughout life and the discovery that the journey to who
you want to be starts with discovering who you are. Featuring a rock score
by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (*Parade, The Last* *Five Years,
Songs for a New World*), *13* is the first show in Broadway history to have
an entirely teenage cast and orchestra.

About the Show: Evan Goldman has it all: He’s popular, has the “perfect”
family and lives in the world’s greatest city – New York. When his parents
get divorced, he’s forced to move with his mom to Indiana. Uprooted from
his old life, he must maneuver his way through the minefield of high school
to be part of the in crowd.

This production features thirteen of Cleveland’s most talented teenage
performers. The cast includes Dani Apple as Patrice and Miles Sternfeld as
Evan. Dani Apple has performed in numerous productions in the Cleveland
area and has attended FPAC’s summer professional training for five years. In
addition she is a three-time Playhouse Square Rising Talent Star winner and
performed in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Miles Sternfeld
has been a student of FPAC’s professional training for six years and he has
performed at The Beck Center for the Arts (Chip/ *Beauty and the* *Beast*),
Cain Park, Mercury Summer Stock and Willoughby Fine Arts Association (Jojo/
*Seussica*l). Rounding out the rest of the cast and understudies are Jordan
Brown, Kyle Cohen, Alexis Floyd, Aric Floyd, Jessie Gill, Caroline Hatch,
Codie Higer, Dan Hoy, Tia Karaplis, Mark Oet, Leah Saltzer, Daniel
Sovich, Elle
Vertes and Sam Welch.

The creative team includes director Sean Szaller, musical director David
Williams, musical supervisor Rob Kovacs, choreographer Bebe Weinberg Katz,
set designer Ben Needham, costume designer Craig Tucker and sound designer
Carlton Guc.
