Hello Neohiopalers!  We don't let a little snow stop us from getting out and having a good time.
Winter is Cold. The Stage is Hot at Stocker Arts Center!
Here are some great reasons to get out of the house this week and come to Stocker...

Thursday, February 18 - 7:00pm
Princess Katie and Racer Steve Live! - a great show for the entire family. Singer/songwriter Katie O'Sullivan and her husband/partner, Steve Borne, don their alternate personalities to mix high energy music kids love with great life lessons. Mom and dad will love Katie's earthy voice, a dead ringer for Natalie Merchant.  Bring the kids to party in their PJs! 

This show qualifies for our Take A Chance ticket program [½ price tickets ($7.50/each) at the Stocker Box Office beginning an hour and a half before curtain time! For Princess Katie and Racer Steve Take A Chance tickets become available beginning at 5:30pm].

Friday, February 19 - 7:30pm 
Dance/Speak: The Life of Agnes de Mille - a theatrical/dance piece which tells the story of choreographer Agnes de Mille's struggle for success as a choreographer in the American theatre told through narration, dramatic interpretation and her dances including those from her Broadway musicals: Carousel, Brigadoon and Oklahoma! as well as selected portions of some of her ballets: Fall River Legend, Three Virgins and a Devil, Rodeo and Debut at the Opera.

Valet parking is available for this event for only $5 per car and can be paid directly to the valets when you drive up!

Saturday, February 20 - 7:30pm - Civic Jazz Band Concert - enjoy some of the greatest big band music ever written as played by our own LCCC Civic Jazz Band. 
Sunday, February 21 - 3:00pm - Civic Concert Band Concert - FREE - The LCCC Civic Concert Band brings to life some songs of the Civil War era for this free event.

Thursday, February 18 - 4-8pm - FREE! - Gallery Tour and Artists' Reception for the Portfolio Alumni Art Show - Six former LCCC Art students display their work. Artist, Amy Stibich will be in residence from February 16-18, installing her site specific art work. This exhibition runs through Thursday, March 25, 2010.
