[NEohioPAL] Call for Artists for Public Art Recycling Containers

This is the ast week to turn in Public Art Recycling Container Proposals to RTA
 
The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) is issuing a Call for Artists to seek responses from qualified persons, firms or agencies to implement a Transit Waiting Environment (TWE) enhancement project at locations along the RTA bus operating system with the installation of public art recycling cans. 
 
Proposal should reflect not only improving the travel experience at bus stops but also increase the awareness of GCRTA services in the community it serves.
 
GCRTA’s Citizen Advisory Board developed the concept for the Transit Waiting Environments (TWE) initiative that was incorporated into a program to improve the pedestrian environment at and around GCRTA bus stops.  The goal of the program is to provide enhanced passenger amenities and information to encourage bus ridership.
 
Sealed proposals for this procurement will be received until 4:00 p.m. Official Time, Thursday, February 25, 2010, at the location noted below.  Proposals received after the designated time, or at any place other than the designated location, will NOT be accepted.  Proposals shall be submitted to:

Please read all of the call information before you call with questions.  Deadline for questions is Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the close of business.
