 IMPROV THEATRE ENSEMBLE
Instructor: Marc Moritz, AEA Actor, Director, Teacher
Dates: Session Three (two weeks) August 2 – 13; Mondays - Fridays. 1:30 -
4:30pm
Limit: Open
Ages: 8th grade - College

Are you an energetic, spontaneous, committed performer interested in being
part of an Improv Performing Troupe?

Marc Moritz will train you in specific techniques used by such improv
theatres as Chicago’s Second City , ImprovOlympics and TheatreSports, as
well as Cleveland’s own GIANT PORTIONS.

Through a series of theatre games, exercises, and improvised scene work, we
will create a strong ensemble of improv performers. This two week intensive
will culminate in a public performance at Mayfield Civic Center the weekend
of August 13. This group will be the core of an ongoing year round FPAC Teen
Improv company that will have many performing opportunities, including
competing in the Improv Olympics Competition in April at the Cleveland Play
House.

Auditions will be held Sunday, February 21, 6:00 – 9:00 pm or Sunday, April
18, 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Groups of ten will be seen in 30 minute time slots. The
auditions will be a series of games and exercises to get you thinking
quickly on your feet. Please come in clothing you can move in! Previous
improv performing experience a plus, but not required. Sign up for an

In some cases, teacher, director and/or FPAC Professional Staff
