Talking Bones Audition Dates

The African Community Theatre at Kent State University is holding Auditions for its Spring 2010 production of Talking Bones by Shay Youngblood.

Talking Bones is a contemporary tale about the "ancestors" and three generations of African American women who are trying to get in touch with their roots.  This is a poetic play about embracing the past, present, connecting to the ancestors, their dreams and the future. 

Cast: 3 African American Women (20-60 YEARS OLD) and 2 African American Men (20'Ss/40's)

A.C.T.'s resident Director, Dr. Fran Dorsey, will direct the play.

Auditions for "Talking Bones" will be held Wednesday thru Friday, February 24, 25, 26, 2010 from 6:00pm- 8:00pm at the African Community Theatre located in Oscar Ritchie on Terrace Drive at the Kent State University Campus.  Interested individuals should prepare a 3-5 minute audition selection. We are also seeking volunteers to help with the Spring Production.
