Acting for the Camera Workshop Series 

Learn what it takes to start your acting

Workshop 1: Acting Basics 

   

In these eight hands on sessions you will be introduced to
the history of acting, and different types of methods you can use. You will
learn to improvise and to perform cold readings for auditions. By doing in
class exercises, you will explore characters responding to different life
situations. You will also prepare and present a short solo piece that you can
use for auditions. Here is a chance to discover your own unique talents, and to
gain the confidence that can lead you to a new career on stage, television, and
film.

Workshop 2: Advanced Acting 

   

Take what you have learned to the next level! This advanced
course are for actors who have completed workshop 1, or for the more
experienced actors that just want to strengthen their craft and learn something
new. You will learn advanced techniques to improve your auditioning skills, and
help you get cast in your next big role. Class will include script work,
monologue preparation, resume readiness and much more.

   

Completed Course work will include:

Screen work on DVD

Two contrasting monologues for auditions

Headshot on CD

Industry Standard Resume
