*A Season of Classic Stories *

*Music, Drama, and Comedy!*

We’ll open the season with *Something’s Afoot*: a murder mystery musical
that spoofs all-things-detective, mainly the works of Agatha Christie, and
especially her detective novel And Then There Were None (aka Ten Little
Indians). October 8-31 2010

*In December*, we’ll offer our community a production to help bring a bit of
warmth to the oft snow-filled winter. (Royalties in process…)
December 3-19 2010

Next we’ll have our 3rd installment of the *Skip Kelley Youth Theater* with
our production of the classic “*Our Town*”. This is not a youth workshop
but rather an auditioned production. Directors interested in working on this
show would be expected to challenge the talented teens in our community to
put on a high quality production. January 14-23 2011

“*The Miracle Worker*” follows and will offer our community a chance to
relive this amazing story of Helen Keller and her teacher, Anne Sullivan. This
production is part of our outreach to area schools as we invite them and our
community to attend the show. February 11-27 2011

“*Into The Woods*” is our Spring Musical – This Broadway Classic with music
by Stephen Sondheim takes our favorite Fairy Tales and gives them a wild
twist. March 25-April 17 2011

We end our season with the hilarious musical, “*Nunsense*” where we meet
with The Little Sisters of Hoboken, residents of Mt. St. Helens Convent, as
they stage a benefit to bury their sisters who’ve been accidentally killed
off with a botulism-laced vichyssoise cooked up by Sister Julia (Child of
God). They’ve buried 48…need money for the last 4 still in the freezer! May
6-22 2011
