Instructor: Rachel Spence
Did you enjoy "All Greek To Me"? How about "Channel Zero" or "Hillbilly
Holiday"? Then come and learn how to create your own delightful play led
by Rachel Spence, who has taught and entertained Beck audiences for
years. In this half-semester class, students will learn the basics of
creative writing to create a brief one act play. Students will learn
tips to overcome writer's block, how to outline a story and dialogue
writing techniques. Activities include collaborations, spoof writing and
creating both adaptations and imaginative original plays. NOTE: Students
must be able to read well.
Saturday; 11:30am-12:30pm; 8 weeks; 3/13-5/8; No class 4/3; Tuition: $80

FOR TEENS:

Stretch for the Musical Theater Performer (Ages 13 - 18)
Instructor: Devon Shriver
Created by student demand, this invaluable class will improve
flexibility, range of motion and muscle strength - all of which is
crucial for the dancer/musical theater performer. By stretching
regularly, you can help your body achieve its goal of continued
wellness. Even if you do not consider yourself a dancer, this class is
an excellent opportunity to learn to reduce stress on the body and mind.
You will feel fantastic!
