Song leader/Band leader at Fairmount Temple

 

Fairmount Temple, a Reform Congregation in Beachwood, Ohio is  seeking a
musically talented individual who has the ability to song lead with
guitar and to conduct a group of instrumentalists!    Song leading
opportunities include:  religious school music curriculum, overnight
camp retreats, and approximately three monthly congregational prayer
experiences in a variety of settings. 

The Song leader/Band Leader should also be able to help grow our new
intergenerational volunteer band - both with additional instruments and
with greater artistry and ability.  The person should have a working
knowledge of band/orchestra instruments and the ability to
transpose/arrange music accordingly, or the ability to acquire such
skills so as to arrange music for a variety of instruments.  Knowledge
of Jewish music is helpful.
