for the Camera Workshop Series Spring 2010

 Workshop 1: Acting for the
Camera and Audition Technique

Acting for the camera workshop 1 is
designed for the beginning to intermediate actor who wants a deeper
understanding of working in the film and television world. Classes will explore
the various genres within film and television. You will learn to improvise and
to perform cold readings for auditions, as well as monologue preparation. Here
is a chance to discover your own unique talents, and to gain the confidence
that can lead you to a new career in television, and film.

 Workshop 2: Camera Acting

This advanced course is for actors
who have completed workshop 1, or for the more experienced actor that want to
strengthen their craft and learn something new. You will learn advanced
techniques to improve your auditioning skills, and help you get cast in your
next big role. Course Work Will Include: Screen work on DVD, two contrasting
monologues for auditions, headshot on CD, and industry standard resume.
