[NEohioPAL] Song Leader/Band Leader at Fairmount Temple

We are seeking a musically talented individual who has the ability to
song lead with guitar and, hopefully, to conduct a group of
instrumentalists!  This is a wonderful opportunity for a person with a
variety of musical skills to become an exciting part of the musical life
of our congregation.  Song leading opportunities include:  religious
school music curriculum, overnight camp retreats, and approximately
three monthly congregational prayer experiences in a variety of
settings. Knowledge of Hebrew music is helpful.  

 

We have also developed an all-volunteer, intergenerational Temple Band
that is bringing great vitality and energy to all facets of our
congregation's life.  We are looking for an individual who can grow the
band - both with additional instruments and with greater artistry and
ability.  The person should have a working knowledge of band/orchestra
instruments and the ability to transpose music accordingly, or the
ability to acquire such skills so as to arrange music for a variety of
instruments.
