In honor of "Easter month", OddyFest presents a special Christianity-themed
program starting next Friday, which, coincidentally enough, is Good Friday.
Consider joining us *Friday, April 2nd, at 7:00 p.m. at the Brody-Nelson MTG
Room of the Cleveland Heights Library (2345 Lee Road)* for two insightful
plays on the evolution of Christendom, "Herod at Lugdunum" and "Prester
John". Read on for details-- hope to see you there for this FREE program!

*On Christianity: OddyFest #20*

*Featuring the inspirational M.C. “Lil’ Preacher Man”*

* *

*Just in time for Easter, OddyFest critically investigates the development
of the world’s most popular religion in this Swiftian-titled program*

*“Herod at Lugdunum” by Matt Greenfield*

The title character, Herod Antipas, attempts to justify his role in the
demise of Jesus Christ and John the Baptist when he encounters a new
Christian convert in the 1st century in modern-day France. All poor Herod
wanted was a “show”, and that’s exactly what he’s going to get—in the form
of a mental breakdown.

*“Prester John” by Ian Adler*

1171 A.D.: Philip, physician to Pope Alexander III, is sent off to the East
to seek out the mythical “Indian” Christian king of the title who will
hopefully help unite the world under Christianity’s banner. What he finds
will change his perception of himself, knowledge, history, and faith.

*The Odd FRIDAYS:*

*Friday, April 2 (Good Friday) / Friday, April 16*

*Show starts at 7:00*

* *

*BRODY-NELSON ROOM*

*of the Cleveland Heights Library, Lee Road Branch*

*(2345 Lee Road, just next to the stairs)*

*FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!*
