[NEohioPAL] Auditions for Short Film “The Tale of Nine”

We are currently casting for the short film “The Tale of
Nine”. All roles are speaking. Non-Union actors preferred. Please bring a
monologue or dialogue to read. Be prepared for a cold read if necessary.

Auditions will take place:

March 31st (Wed.) and April 1st
(Thur.)

From 5:00pm – 8:30pm

Rocky River Public Library Auditorium (downstairs)

*A camera will be on location for filming of auditions.
Rehearsals will be the second week of April.Filming will be the third week of April.




Plot Synopsis: Two masked men hold a hostage for their boss. Each of their
intentions hidden from one another.

   

Roles available:

   

Nick (Asian descendant)

Age: 22-28

Height: 5'8" - 6'1"



Toned body, the character is fluent in various fighting styles. (No fighting
will be done in the filming, but experience is a plus). He is very smart and
mischievous. Due to being good once then turning into a criminal, he has lost
many things he has loved.

John

Age: 24 – 30

   

Just a regular guy, a veteran criminal, and Nick's partner
in the kidnapping. Secretly he is part of a bigger scheme somehow. *Will have
to have a partial beard or goatee for filming.*

Miranda (Latin descendant)

Age: 18 – 28

Height: 5'4" - 5'7"



A hostage. Beautiful and young, she secretly is a girl who can get what she
wants and isn't afraid of getting her hands dirty doing it.

Ben

Age: 18 – 25

   

A typical sarcastic youth lost in the wrong place at the
wrong time. He is athletic and straight out of school ready to take on the
world. But a few more seconds waiting won't hurt anything.
