EVENT: Dover Players Presents - The Return of Sherlock Holmes  

 

Sherlock Holmes returns to the Dover Players stage by popular demand in The
Return of Sherlock Holmes.  The Dover Players community theater group is
celebrating the spring season with a three act play based on three Sherlock
Holmes stories - "The Three Garridebs", "The Second Stain" and "The Bruce
Partington Plans". 

 

 

The Return of Sherlock Holmes  

 

Synopsis:  The world thought Sherlock Holmes died in a fatal fall with his
nemesis, Professor Moriarty. But two years later, Dr. Watson is surprised
when Holmes walks right into his office, alive and well!  While time away
has changed Sherlock Holmes, come see him try to unravel these three tales
of intrigue with the fate of Europe in the balance: "The Three Garridebs",
"The Second Stain" and "The Bruce Partington Plans".

Performance Dates:   Apr. 9-11, Apr. 16-18 and Apr. 23-25

 

Performance Times:    8:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays

                                    6:00 p.m. Sundays

(There is a brief intermission for each performance when light refreshments
will be served)

 

Location:

North Olmsted Old Town Hall

5186 Dover Center Road

North Olmsted, OH 44070

NOTE: The Old Town Hall is located just south of the intersection of Dover
Center Road (runs North and South) and Lorain Avenue (runs East and West) in
North Olmsted. As you travel south on Dover Center Road you will pass the
Police Station on the right. The Old Town Hall is the small building between
the Police Station and City Hall. You may park in the lot to the left of the
Old Town Hall building.

 

Cost: 

Admission is FREE, first come, first serve.  Since we sold out our previous
show Three Gems for Sherlock Holmes last year, it is recommended that you
arrive early for best seats to view the performance. Or, call Acting Out! at
440-779-1284 for reservations available for $5.00 per seat.
