*A much loved historical play is coming to the Geauga Lyric Theater in
April. Directed by Angela Miloro, GLTG regular and soon to be Hiram
graduate, this all teen performance will be available to the public on the
weekend of April 9-11.*
*Showtime will be 7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 2:00 pm on Sunday. *
**

*This project developed from a grant application to the Ohio Arts Council.
Executive Director Christine Cipriani and grant writing volunteer Kris
Kelley helped Angela to gain support for her goal of an auditioned teen
play. Angela, who has spent much time on stage, recognizes that many
auditioners are relegated to the role of chorus in musicals. She wanted a
showcase for those young people whose strengths may be found in their acting
rather than singing skills.*

*The Diary of Anne Frank has long been a favorite of Angela, who is earning
her degree in Creative Writing, with a distinctive leaning to history. By
picking this play, she felt that not only could she give her actors solid
roles, she could also educate them and the audiences they will reach. Her
cast ranges in experience from “veterans” to first time performers, and in
age from 13 to 19 years of age.*
*Because of the OAC grant and the support of the Geauga Lyric Theater,*
* tickets for this event will only be $5!*
*They can be purchased at the box office(440-286-2255) on Mondays,
Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1pm to 5pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.
Online purchases are also available at www.geaugatheater.org*
