News Release:
First Baptist Church’s talented Associate Director of Music Betty Meyers will be joined by former members of the Cleveland Orchestra in a presentation of music composed by Georg Philipp Telemann and Franz Schubert.
Mezzo-soprano Phyllis Spears will be accompanied by Gary Tishkoff on violin, Yarden Faden on viola, Diane Mather on cello, and Ann Gilbert on bass. Betty Meyers will play the piano in this talented quintet.
The concert will be held in the acoustically enhanced Gothic sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland at 3630 Fairmount Boulevard at Eaton Road in Shaker Heights, and will be followed by a reception where guests will be able to meet the musicians.
