classes in both the Meisner approach to acting and Shakespeare for the 
contemporary actor.

    Meisner Foundations

If you desire a truthful, personal, and impulsive performance from both 
yourself and your scene partners, the Meisner Foundations class is the 
class for you!  We will be exploring Repetition, Imaginary 
Relationships, and Improvisation to give you a foundation of "living 
truthfully under imaginary circumstances".

    

    Shakespeare

Playing Shakespeare's verse presents a number of challenges for today's 
actor.  In the Shakespeare class we will approach these challenges 
through both table work and scene work, providing you with the 
foundational tools you need to play Shakespeare's words in a truthful 
and exciting way.  Come play Shakespeare like he was meant to be played!

  

Johnny Russell is an award winning actor and teacher who has performed 
and studied across the country and internationally with some of today's 
most innovative theatre artists.  He is now bringing his work and 
passion for the craft of acting to Canton, OH.
