DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS ON STAGE

Stagecrafters Teen Academy, a program of Orange Community Education &
Recreation, is proud to present DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS at the Orange
High School auditorium, on the Orange City Schools Campus, 32000 Chagrin
Blvd, Pepper Pike OH 44124. Performances will be held Friday, April 16
and Saturday, April 17 at 7:00pm and Sunday, April 18 at 2:00pm. Tickets
are $10 and are available at the door.

The cast of DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS consists of talented young actors
who belt out songs like "Chimp in a Suit", "All About Ruprecht" and
"Nothing is too Wonderful to be True".  They have taken over the stage
at Orange High School to present this hilarious musical based on the
popular 1988 film of the same name.   DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS centers on
two men living on the French Riviera who survive by swindling
unsuspecting marks. The first is the suave and sophisticated Lawrence
Jameson (Patrick Mooney), who makes his lavish living by talking rich
ladies out of their money. The other, a small-time crook named Freddy
Benson (Keifer Wiley), more humbly swindles women by waking their
compassion with fabricated stories about his grandmother's failing
health.  After meeting on a train, they unsuccessfully attempt to work
together only to find that this small French town isn't big enough for
the two of them.  In the midst of all the conning, they both fall for a
charming young woman named Christine (Emily Viancourt) and they decide
to battle for her fortune to prove who is the slickest grifter of them
all.  A hilarious battle of cons ensues, that will keep audiences
laughing, humming and guessing to the end!
