[NEohioPAL] AUDITIONS: "Taming of the Shrew" at The Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County

Auditions for Taming of the Shrew will be held Saturday, April 24 at 1 PM at the Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County.


The play is being presented as part of Second Sunday Shakespeare, through the auspices of the Little Theatre, and will run June 13, July 11 and August 8 at 2 PM in the Deis Hill Amphitheatre at Dover Park.


No admission will be charged, but donations to the Little Theatre will be accepted. Concessions will be in charge of the Dover Lions Club.


There are eight major men's parts and at least seven more small parts that can be doubled, and two major women's parts with several very small parts, as well as women villagers. Auditions, which will consist of readings from the play, are open to anyone.


Rehearsals will be held in the amphitheatre, weather permitting, and at an indoor location yet to be chosen.
