I am going to be directing a very exciting new project. The details follow:
Title TBD Productions announces
open auditions for: Title
TBD! The Improvised
Musical - Directed by Marc Moritz*Initial
run of show will be Saturday evenings from July 10 – August 31, 2010, with a
possibility of extension. Rehearsals
will begin in mid-May, two-three times a week, schedule to be
determined based on actor availability. The auditions will be held at Pilgrim Church in
Tremont on Monday, April 26th from 7-10pm. Callbacks will held the
following Monday, May 3, from 7-10pm,
also at Pilgrim. Pilgrim Church is located at 2592
West 14th Street, 44113. Title TBD Productions seeks twelve to sixteen
adventurous improvisers to stage a completely improvised, hour-long
musical based on a single audience suggestion. Think Stephen Sondheim, only
without that pesky sheet
music. All songs, all actions, all piano accompaniment, all the
story will be made up by the actors and musicians working together, completely on the spot. To reserve an audition time, please email titletobedetermined@ gmail.com. Audition times will be assigned
within hour-long slots (i.e. from
7-8pm, 8-9pm, or 9-10pm). Please wear comfortable
clothing and closed toe shoes. Be prepared to move. Improv experience and a good sense of rhythm desired, as
well as, of course, not being shy about singing in public. Trained
voices a plus, but not necessary. Adults only.
Applicants will be asked to fill out a questionnaire regarding
their experience.
Please bring a recent headshot or photo if you have
one. For an idea of what
we will be doing, watch the videos at http://www.youtube.com/

and performed in productions as a professional mentor. He
currently
teaches improv at The Cleveland Improv Institute and has been on staff at
Chicago's Second City Training Center. Marc was also a Guest Artist with The University Circle
Early Educational Enrichment Program - bringing Improv and other
