Need a Foster or Permanent Home


How suddenly life can change with one small act...

Below is their sad story.  We hope someone can find it in their heart to write a happy-ending.
   
Daisy and April lost everything very suddenly less than a month ago: the love of their life-long human companion; their home and their security.  Their dear old human took a fall.  During emergency treatment for her fall, it was discovered she had metastatic cancer. She was admitted to a nursing facility where she will spend the remainder of what time she has left without her beloved companions, Daisy & April. Her dogs were her life.  Now, none of them will ever return home.

Daisy is a lab/springer spaniel mix. April is a border collie mix. Both are 9 years old and still have a lot of life to live and love to give.  They are good sweet dogs, healthy and up to date with shots.  April is laid back, Daisy still has much energy. Ideally these dogs would need a fenced in backyard. Assistance with vetting is available if it becomes necessary.

A temporary caregiver was found but she is moving to California next month and cannot take the dogs.  When she leaves the dogs will have no where to go. She says the following:
1.       They are both very loving and LOVE attention
2.      They sleep a lot
3.      They don't jump up on you
4.      They are not bothered by other dogs--they don't even give them a second look
5.      They are housebroken
6.      They are good in the yard with no attempted escapes
