      The Producers

CVLT is pleased to produce Northeast Ohio's /first community theatre 
production/ of Mel Brooks' Tony-award winning musical comedy /The 
Producers/! Based on his 1968 film of the same name, the show is the 
hilarious story of a scheming Broadway producer and his accountant who 
plan to scam investors by putting on the most awful flop in theater 
history.

*Audition dates: *

Sunday, May 2 from 6 - 9 PM
Monday, May 3 from 7 - 10 PM

*Directed by* J.E. Ballantyne, Jr.
* Musical Direction by* David Keith Stiver

*Seeking:* A wide range of ages - anyone who can pass for age twenty to 
seventy.

*Preparation:* Bring a prepared song and wear clothes suitable for dance 
movement. You will be given a scene to read. Headshots and acting 
resumes are welcome, but not necessary.

*Show dates:* July 23 - August 21, 2010 (Fridays & Saturdays at 8, 
Sundays August 1 & 8 at 2)
