The Youngstown Playhouse will present the musical comedy murder mystery,CURTAINS, weekends, May 14-16 and May 21-23. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays. The Playhouse production marks the area premiere of the award winning show.
 
CURTAINS, which features music and lyrics by the renowned team of Kander and Ebb, is a back stage murder mystery set in 1959 Boston. When the talent less leading lady suddenly dies on stage, all of the cast and crew of the show become suspects. Enter Lt. Frank Cioffi, detective and stage struck theatre buff, who arrives to solve the mystery, and becomes drawn into the dramatic world of the production. Life in the theatre can, indeed, be murder!
 
CURTAINS is directed by Michael Dempsey, with the musical direction of Gary Kekel and choreography by Carrie Mazzucco. Set Design is by James Lybarger, assisted by John Pecano. Cherie Stebner is costumer and Lesie Brown serves as stage manager, assisted by Danielle Jackson. 

The large cast includes Josh Lewis; Lindsay Heath; Amy Russell; Geri DeWitt; Bernie Appugliese and Tom O'Donnell.
