Sandstone Summer Theatre Announces Plays and Registration Dates

Sandstone Summer Theatre is excited to announce their 41st season's
theatrical productions, and invites the community to participate.  The
oldest group, Sandstone, will be presenting CHILDREN OF EDEN, which is open
to any student who has completed the 9th grade and adults of all ages in
Lorain County.  Orientation is on June 9, 2010 with audition dates to be
announced.  Rehearsals begin June 14th at Amherst Steele High School with
performances on July 22nd, 23rd and 24th.  There is no registration fee, but
we ask that show tickets be sold by the cast and crew.

Sandstone Apprentices, is a five-week workshop-based theatre program for
Amherst students who have completed grades 6 - 8.  They will be performing
SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! JUNIOR.  Audition and rehearsals begin June 28th at
Amherst Junior High School with performances July 30th and 31st.
Registration fee is $90.

Sunshine Company, is a five-week introduction to theatre skills for Amherst
students who have completed grades 2 - 5.  They will be performing
CINDERELLA'S GLASS SLIPPER.  Audition and rehearsals begin June 28th at
Amherst Junior High School with performances July 30th and 31st.
Registration fee is $90.

Registration dates for this summer's productions are Saturday, May 15th 9:30
AM - 12:30 PM and Thursday, May 27th 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Amherst Steele
Main Lobby.  Also, Wednesday, June 9th 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Amherst Steele
Cafetorium.   Please have child accompany parent/legal guardian to
registration for the Apprentices and Sunshine groups.

Sandstone Summer Theatre is a great place for the entire family!  If you can
