OPEN CASTING CALL (CLEVELAND-OHIO)
 
Film Title: Holiday Lie 
 
Synopsis: 
This film, in part, utilizes the central concept of raising a child with the belief in Santa Claus as a "springboard" to reveal deep-seated moral, personal, and cultural conflicts within the family unit. 
This film takes place in one location and will be shot in black and white with only 4 cast members along with one particular figure colorized throughout the film.  The tentative film date is June 5, 2010 with (2) rehearsal dates prior.
 
Character Description:
Robin: Nationality (Interracial) Age (9-11)
Personality- She is very sweet, childlike and shy for her age…at first.
 
Opal: Nationality (Black) Age (Over 30)
Personality- Stern very business minded and professional though at times confused with her marital status and how it happened.
 
Benard: Nationality (White) Age (Over 30)
Personality- He is very gentle person though passive when it comes to his wife.
 
Rosalie: Nationality (Spanish) Age (40+) Preferably Full figured but flexible.
Personality- She is very kind, humbling and caring.  She speaks both English and Spanish fluently.
 
Objective: 
Though cast and crew members will be well fed, this project is a non-paid venture.  This very quick (5) day shoot will be used as a resource for funding on future projects.
