Please consider joining OddyFest as it once again highlights the work of
local high school student playwrights and songwriters.  "The Surreal Thing"
program this Saturday includes six short plays presented in staged reading
form by high school juniors and "La Sueña" by Oddy founder Matt Greenfield.
A splendid jam-packed time is guaranteed for all!  Hope to see you *this

Two high school aged friends, Pete and Bob, sit around one of their houses
(it’s never determined whose) and chat about television, blackjack, and
existential philosophy.  Then Bob goes inside Pete’s dream world as Pete
encounters doctors, cheerleaders, ski instructors, imploded buildings, and a
giant rolling eyeball.  Join OddyFest on the surreal ride as we put an Oddy
twist on the traditional buddy comedy in this phantasmagorical farce.

Based in part on the overwhelming success of “P-Unit’s” December program,
high school student playwrights return to bring you their latest crop of
experimental one-acts that explore a bizarre mix of genre, form, and source
material.  Behold the theatre of the future as each program features five
original student-written and -presented plays in staged reading form.
