[NEohioPAL] Audition: "Cheaper By The Dozen" at Brunswick ACT

Auditions for "Cheaper By The Dozen" will be held Monday, May 10 and Wednesday, May 12 at the Brunswick Recreation Center at 7pm both nights. The Rec Center is at 3637 Center Rd. in Brunswick. Auditioners will be asked to read from the script. 

The director is Judith Mazur.

Below is a description of the characters required for this production: 
	* Galbreth Children: The children range in age from 17 on downward with Anne being the oldest. While it is Cheaper by the "Dozen", there are only 9 childrens roles. 
	* Dad: Dad is tall, and no longer slim. He carries himself with the self-assurance of a successful man who is proud of his wife, proud of his family, and proud of his business accomplishments. 
	* Mother: Mother is a gracious, attractive woman. She is also a psychologist In her own way, she is often able to get even better results with her large family than Dad, but she is not a disciplinarian. However, she never threatens, shouts or becomes excited. 
	* Mrs. Fitzgerald: The cook is a buxom, kindly woman, and completely devoted to the family. Sometimes her patience is tried by the goings-on in the large household. 
	* Dr. Burton: The family doctor is a plain, outspoken man. Actor should be an older gentleman. 
	* Joe Scales: A cheerleader, Joe is Anne's age , a very short, cocky chap. 
	* Miss Brill: A teacher, she is thin an sallow, with angular features and wears the type of glasses that pinch together on the bridge of her nose. Miss Brill has no love for the children and they have no love for her. 
	* Larry: Larry is also Anne's age, a nice-looking, clean-cut boy. 
"Cheaper By The Dozen" will be presented on July 23, 24, 30 and 31st at the Brunswick High School, James Hayas Performing Arts Center.
