The Cleveland Play House seeks an Education Director to oversee all
educational programming. This includes designing, implementing, and managing
K-12 core programs, developing marketing, fundraising, and outreach
strategies; and steering the direction of the department.  Core
responsibilities include: administering, designing and implementing all
educational programming; supervising Education Associate and Interns;
managing, hiring, and approving teaching artists; developing curriculum
connections between productions and school systems; managing and overseeing
Education budget; and serving as a public representative for CPH Education
programs.  Ideal candidate should have a graduate theatre degree, and at
least 5 years of experience in theatre education for grades K-12, as well as
experience in marketing, fundraising, and budgeting. Candidates must have
excellent written, organizational and interpersonal skills. Now in its 94th
season, Cleveland Play House is a LORT C theatre with an operating budget of
$6.5 million. Salary is commensurate with experience; benefits included.
