This Friday and Saturday, for the first time ever, Stow-Munroe Falls High School is mounting an original theatrical project titled The Workable Lie; A Theatrical Mosaic of the American Dream.  This show consists of Summer at the Lake by Tennessee Williams, Marriage Play by Edward Albee and an original play titled A Vase that Must Never be Broken written by senior Keith Foster.
The performances are on this Friday and Saturday, May 14 and 15, at 8:00 pm.  Tickets are $5.00 and are available at the door.  Proceeds benefit the SMFHS drama club and speech and debate team.
These three short plays use the same set and run like one full-length show.  The three plays work to produce one larger comment on the American dream.
Please support the efforts of young theatrical craftsmen and women!  The rarity of getting original material staged, especially for a young person, is great, which makes this opportunity all the more exciting. The show promises to be thoroughly interesting, humorous and tragic - altogether well worth your time and money.  We hope to see you there.
