SCA’s Summer Camps are the place to hone your creative skills, boost your
independence and your self-esteem! Fun and educational projects encourage
students to follow directions while gaining confidence and exploring their
imagination. Each session is different and will be filled with fun,
excitement, activity, self-discovery and learning. Participate in one or
more camps for the ultimate arts experience! For more information on how to

Instructors Dusten Welch and Dominick Chicotel will explore the elements of
theater and acting which include movement, voice and improvisation. Students
will begin to understand how the body and voice are critical tools to
building a solid acting foundation. Through imagination and improvisation,
students will develop as young actors while learning about the rehearsal and
performance process.

*MUSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP **(Grades 3 - 8)***

SHS Drama Club and SCA are once again offering the Musical Theater Workshop,
led by Kristina J. Ferencie. This five-week program will introduce the basic
principles of acting, singing and movement for the theater. The workshop
will also address the technical elements of theater and conclude with a
performance of *Honk! Junior.*

*Performances:** Thursday, July 15 (4:00 pm and 7:30 pm) & Friday, July 16
at SCA’s Chill N’ Grill (12:00 pm)*

*Tuition: $300.00*

*ACTING FOR THE THEATER WORKSHOP **(Grades 8 - 12)*
***Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday*
***1:00 pm - 4:00 pm*

*June 14 - July 14 *No class 7/5*

This five-week camp, led by Kristina J. Ferencie, will cover the intricacies
of script analysis, building a character, stage movement, improvisation and
acting techniques. The class will meet three afternoons a week and will
emphasize the process of creating a believable performance.
