4:30pm
Limit: Open
Ages: 8th grade – College, or permission of program supervisor.

The Musical Theatre Workshop - GLEE Club is a program to develop students
into the complete package - the “triple threat performer.” The focus in this
program is on acting, singing and dancing as a part of a production number,
whether for the musical theater stage or for show choir concerts. This
program will include daily voice lessons, daily dance class and repertoire
that is drawn from both musical theater and contemporary popular artists.
Students will be taught how to control their breathing to manage singing and
dancing at the same time. In addition students will develop the skill to
properly use broad and narrow, internal and external focus while on stage.
Acting skills and character development will be enhanced to complete this
performance focused program.

Material developed during this three week period will be performed after
each performance of Honk! Jr. at Mayfield Village Civic Center. Performances
of “GLEE” will be Thursday, July 29 at 9:00 pm, Friday, July 30 at 9:00 pm,
Saturday, July 31 at 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm and Sunday, August 1 at 4:00 pm.

For information about participating in GLEE, contact Artistic Director Fred
Sternfeld at fsternfeld at gmail.com.
