All roles (other than Nikos) require a British accent.

Alan Turing, 39. A quietly charismatic and multifaceted man. Atheist, homosexual, eccentric and brilliant mathematician whose honesty and decency were too much for society and his times. Unkempt in appearance, he occasionally speaks with a gentle stammer. (Lead.)

Mick Ross, mid-40's. A Detective Sergeant with the Manchester Police Department. A by-the-book, working-class man, very good at what he does. And what he does is get to the truth. Tough, but not unsympathetic. (Lead.)

Sara Turing, early 50's. Alan's mother. A simple woman, never quite able to understand the complex and complicated son she so dearly loves. (4 scenes.)

Ron Miller, 20. A north-country, working-class man currently out-of-work and looking to get some money or, at the very least another pint, anyway he can. A rough young man, he directly contributes to Alan's downfall. (3 scenes.)

Pat Green, early 30's. A cryptanalyst at The Government Code and Cipher School. A bright young woman in love with Alan despite his homosexuality. (3 scenes.)

John Smith, 50's. An authoritative, upper-middle class officer with the British Foreign Office. (2 scenes.)

Dillwyn Knox, 60. A brilliant classical scholar. Alan's boss at The Government Code and Cipher School. (2 scenes.)

Christopher Morcom, 17. A modest, yet charming school friend of Alan's at Sherborne School. He's the kind of boy who makes such an impression Alan will continue to speak of him long after Christopher's early, untimely death. (1 scene.)

Nikos, 20. A handsome young Greek boy. A one-night lover on Alan's holiday on the island of Corfu. Speaks fluent Greek. (1 scene.)
