FYI:

The Asian Pacific American communities of Cleveland will celebrate rich
heritage and history at the ballpark for all Captains fans to take part in.

 It would be amazing for each organization to come together and participate
in this inaugural affair. 

So far the Captains have performance commitments from Yin Tang and her
students as well as the Icho Daiko Tiger Drummers with Aryavarta Kumar. I'm
still waiting to hear from T'Shaka Brown and Mona Alag too.

Reserving tickets for your organization is easy. Just phone me at (440)
975-8085 and reserve a minimum amount of 20 Tickets. Once June 12th  comes
around, phone and let me know your final number of people attending and we
will process payment and send the Tickets. I'll need to know who will be
throwing out a First Pitch from each prospective organization and whether or
not you will be joining the Museum. 

We create a cultural Museum at the ballpark and each participating
organization will have a free Concourse Table to disseminate information and
spread culture about themselves.

2010 Heritage Night Schedule: 

1)      Pre-Game Dancing and Singing (Tiger Drumming, Dancing, Music)

2)      Pre-Game Entertainment (Kung Fu and Martial Arts) PENDING

3)      Pre-Game Parade (March around the field before the game starts)

4)      Cuisine

5)      In-Game Contests and Promotions (Egg Roll Eating Contest, Dancing
and Tiger Drumming)

6)      Museum (Each organization creates a cultural display set up at the
game as part of the Museum)

7)      Seventh Inning Stretch sung with community!

8)      Firework Extravaganza after game!

9)      Much, much more!

The Lake County Captains are about fun and excitement. Most people attend
our games for Promotions and not the baseball itself. I promise this will be
a huge success for everyone and we will create a tradition for years to
come. 

I will be contacting everyone shortly about reserving some tickets for Asian
Pacific American Heritage Night.
